The Maid won two awards at the 49th Festival de Cine de Cartagena

The India Catalina award for Best Actress went to Catalina Saavedra for her performance as “Raquel”, and the Premio de la Crítica Especializada (Critics Award) for Best Film.

Here is the full list of the India Catalina awards given in the International Competition:

  • Opera Prima, Entre Os Dedos, T. Guedes & F. Serra, Portugal.
  • Best Supporting Actress: the female cast of Chega de Saudade, Brazil.
  • Best Supporting Actor: Roger Príncep, for Los Girasoles Ciegos, Spain.
  • Best Actress: Catalina Saavedra, La Nana (The Maid), Chile.- Best Actor: Felipe Duarte, Entre Os Dedos, Portugal.
